Roman deeply cherished time with his family and had a lifelong love for UT football, the Dallas Cowboys, and the San Antonio Spurs. A proud Army veteran, he brought the same discipline and dedication to his years of work at Applied Materials and Kone Cranes. He was also known for his passion for plants and his mastery of BBQ.
Roman considered his greatest accomplishment to be marrying the love of his life, Sandra Saucedo, in 1984. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Saucedo; his daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Jason Gomez; his beloved granddaughter, Dylan Gomez; and his son and daughter-in-law, Roman Saucedo Jr. and Madalyn Saucedo. He is also survived by siblings Mary-Lou Rodriguez, Martha Canche, Rafael Saucedo Jr., Sylvia Saucedo, and Sydelia Saucedo and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Saucedo, and his sister, Romelia Saucedo Salinas Garza.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00 am at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville.
