Roslynn was born on December 28th, 1961, to Frank Jr. and Clara Mae Jackson Collins in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She accepted Christ at New Sunlight Baptist Church, and worked for Reverend T. J. Jemison at Mount Zion First Baptist Church in her youth. She completed her early education in EBR Parish Schools and graduated from Istrouma High School in 1979. Her commitment to helping slow the spread of the virus made a meaningful difference in the greater Austin community.

Roslynn had a deep love for supporting her daughters’ education and passions- always volunteering at school events, traveling across the country for soccer tournaments, and offering constant encouragement.
