

Royce worked for the City of Austin Electric Dept., Terminix of Austin, Rice’s Exxon, Stewarts’ Meats and retired in December 2006 from ICI Paints.
He is survived by his wife Shirley whom he adored and loved for 50 ½ years. He is survived by his daughters whom he loved so much, Sherry Williamson (John), Cherry Headrick (Jackie) and Carrie Stewart. Royce was Poppa to his grandson Justin Tabor and granddaughter, Michelle Swoda. Royce is survived by brothers Alton (Shirley) Stewart, Kenneth (Velma) Stewart and Carroll (Carolyn) Stewart, and very special in-laws whom he loved as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Royce was preceded in death by his parents CT, Sr., and Stella Stewart, brother CT Stewart, Jr., W.T. Stewart, Dalton Stewart; sisters, Mary Beth Barringer, Faye Edwards and his grandson, Greg Swoda.
Royce’s greatest pride and joy, besides his wife, daughters and grandchildren was his ’57 Chevy. He was so proud of his car and enjoyed going to car shows.
A special ‘thank you’ to the staff of 3rd floor Seton Main and the staff of IMC. Thanks to his doctors, Dr. John Dallas, Dr. William Moran, Dr. Todd Bagwell, and Dr. Blois.
Memorial contributions may be made to Twin Oaks Ranch, Buda, Texas or a charity of your choice.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, March 25, 2013 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
