I visited my friend and former coworker, Salim, at his home in May 2013. I was very sorry to hear of his passing.

Salim and I worked together for many years at a software company in the 1990s which was located in San Pedro, California. He would often bring in some of his favorite ethnic food, even if it wasn't as good as the Pakistani food he like which was a little harder to find. We kept in touch for many years and I was able to visit him in Texas in 2013. Unfortunately I only recently had found about his passing and wanted to post this message and a photo of him that was taken when we visited him in 2013. I pray that he has found a peaceful place in eternity. He was a great coworker and a good friend.

Saleem was a good friend, a very kind person, and being humorous in nature, was undoubtedly good to hang around with.  We met often every week during my stay in Los Angeles and during his stay there as well in the early 90s.  

We all have to bow down to Allah’s wish, and while accepting his passing on as Allah’s will, wish Saleem a special place in Jannah.  He definitely deserves it.

May I take this opportunity on behalf of myself and KAZANI families to express our heartfelt condolence to our dear brother Abdul Karim Abdul Aziz Momnani,  brother AMJAD, our SISTER HUSNA and other family MEMBERS for this irrepairable loss.  Losing a dear one is always hard and more so when one loses a dear and lovely brother like SALIM CAPTAIN.  He was such a great and lively person. It has been compared with a light going off on a very dark night. It is our prayer that Mowla gives the Ruhani a place in Rehmet e Jannat and rests his soul in eternal peace. May Mowla forgive his sins and gives him batini deedar. May Mowla give you and the family the strength and the courage to bear this loss - Ameen.  KAZANI FAMILY
