She married Johnnie Lee Morgan Jr. on June 4, 1953. They were happily married for 55 years before he passed in 2008. Sandra died on January 2, 2018, leaving behind their only child Johnnie Lee Morgan III and his wife, Karen Morgan, 2 grandchildren, Johnnie Morgan IV and Rebecca Hutton, along with 2 great grandchildren, Johnnie Morgan V and Cody Morgan.
She loved the time that she worked for the BX and all the friends that she made there. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. One of the biggest joys she got was taking gifts to the fire department for Blue Santa. Sandra spent her down time reading and doing the cross-word puzzle. Her love for her family went far beyond just being a mother, a grandmother, and a great grandmother.
