

Sarah was born in Dallas On May 15, 1949, where she graduated from Sunset High School in 1967 and was a proud Bison. After high school she attended Texas A&M Commerce University and was a member of Chi Omega. Growing up she was an active member of Rosemont Christian Church where she was a very active member of the choir and developed her love and talent for singing. There was always music in the house. Sarah loved cooking, baking, crossword puzzles, and cross stitch. She loved using her mother's recipes as well as coming up with her own.
Sarah worked in the shipbuilding industry for 20 years as a Human Resources Manager. She worked for Gretna Machine & Iron Works, Trinity Marine, and Halter Marine. After moving back to Texas, she worked at a family car dealership in collections. She lived with her son and his family for 10 years after suffering a stroke.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Margie Neel Roberts and Wiley Eugene Roberts, and her sisters, Martha Mirus and Mary Mokry. Sarah has a surviving sister, Margie Roberts, who was a faithful friend and later caretaker. She is also survived by her brother, Wiley Roberts.
Sarah had two children, Jennifer Anne Hoyle Boothe (Kenneth Boothe Jr) and Wallace Reid Hoyle III (Manami Hoyle) from a marriage with Wallace Reid Hoyle Jr. Sarah also had five grandchildren: Alexa Boothe Hull (William Hull), Avrea Grace Boothe, Kyler Boothe, Miina Hoyle, and Ryuki Hoyle. She also had one great grandchild, Charlotte Anne Hull.
A memorial service for Sarah will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
