He was many things to many people—a loving father and father-in-law, proud grandfather, beloved brother, brother-in-law, cherished uncle, and dear friend—but to those who knew him best, he was simply Speedy.
Severiano, affectionately known as “Speedy”, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, at the age of 84. While our hearts are heavy with his passing, we are grateful for the life he lived and for the countless memories he gave us to carry forward. He was a proud graduate of Georgetown High School (Class of 1961) and the successful owner of Speedy's Printing for many years. Outside of work, he had a passion for tending to his yard and flowers, loved to fish, and took great pride in showcasing his 1947 Chevy Fleetline at car shows, winning numerous trophies.
Speedy loved his family deeply. Being a father, father-in-law, and grandfather was his greatest joy. He took pride in his children and grandchildren and treasured the time he spent with them. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, enjoying a good laugh, or simply sitting together, Speedy had a way of making the people he loved feel special.
He was a man who valued family and friendship and loved his Savior, Jesus Christ. Speedy was someone EVERYONE could count on. His kindness, humor, personality, and unique way of looking at life left an impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He leaves behind his fiancée and companion, Rebecca Alderete, children and spouses: Stephen (Claudia), Robert (Roxanne) and Rhonda (Rick); his grandchildren: Andrea, Robert Jr., Ayden and Ryan, siblings: Antonia, Rachel, Mike, Felipa, Daniel, David and Rebecca and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless dear friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Rita Gonzales; his wife, Emma Saenz Gonzales; and brothers Samuel, Salomon, and Henry.
Speedy's life was not measured only in years, but in the people he loved, the friendships he made, the stories he told, the songs he sang, the laughter he shared, and the memories he left behind.
Although we will miss seeing his smile, hearing his voice, and enjoying his company, his memory will continue to live on in each of us.
Forever loved.

Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on August 3, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on August 4, 2026, at 10:00 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Cook-Walden /Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on August 4, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Active pallbearers will be Steve Gonzales, Ayden Gonzales, Robert Gonzales, Bobby Gonzales, Ryan Gonzales, and Rick Knopf. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Lottman and Santos Reyna.
