Wes passed in his home surrounded by his loving family from natural causes. He was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Westfall, and is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rebecca Westfall; his children, Roy Leonard Westfall III, Jared Westfall, Tina Hallums, and Cheri Randall; his grandchildren, Kristian Ramirez, Jamie Sanchez, Megan Kratzberg, Anuhea Freitas, Cassandra Kelsey, Mikael Kelsey, Sophea Brooks, Josh Randall, Todd Randall, Jr., Kate Loveday, Cherie Hallums, and Liz Hallums; and his great-grandchildren, Andrew Sanchez, Jackson Brillon, Mia Harendt, and Oliver Mayes.
Aside from his family, Wes’ greatest devotion was to the military. He joined in 1964 serving in the Vietnam War and continued his career for 29 years reaching the rank of Sergeant first class. After retiring, he enjoyed fixing up cars with his brother including a ’96 Dodge Side-Step that he entered into a car show and won first place. He continued to frequent car shows later throughout his life.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 22, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628. Military Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 SH 195, Killeen, Texas 76542.
