Shelly Kay Sacone

Through Shelly’s hard work and perseverance, she obtained numerous certifications to achieve success in her career as a Human Resources Manager and Director. Over the years, Shelly encouraged her daughters to pursue their passions of soccer and karate. Her support was also vital when Craig returned to school to complete his Bachelor’s Degree. Shelly always took time out of her busy schedule to volunteer for charities such as March of Dimes, Dress for Success, Austin Pet’s Alive, and other organizations.

She found happiness in cultivating bonsai trees, training and running half-marathons, reading, and ensuring visitors were always comfortable in her home.

She is survived by Craig, her husband of 30 years, her daughters Jessica and Allison, her mother Rebecca, her step-father Sonny, and her brothers John, Jamie, and Jeff.

Our family would like to thank all those who loved and supported Shelly throughout her life.

Funeral services will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home at 14501 North Interstate 35 Pflugerville, TX 78660 on Thursday, February 10th at 11:00 a.m.
