Riley and I are so sorry for your loss.  Neighbors for over 30 years, we have many memories of Sherrie and your family. I saw this just a few hours before you passed on, my beautiful Mother. I felt it was so fitting for you. I can see you with the daisies and that comforts me. Knew Sherrie and her family when we were members at South Austin Christian Church. Our children were active in church activities.

Never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Bemis, only met Mr Bemis for first time this past year. I do however know her children. Their hearts & character tell me all I need to know regarding their parents. For several decades, many a stumbles & fumbles, plus many victories we've cried & laughed. I'm grateful to call the Bemis' apart of my tribe. My condolences to all who loved her & was loved by her. From all accounts, she was a true jewel & a blessing to many

I met Sherrie in 1976 as a 16 yr old girl. She would come outside where Rick and Russell, my boyfriend at the time Jerry were hangin out. She'd  interact with all of us and joke around.  In those days we wouldn't usually tolerate that sort of stuff from parents. With Miss Sherrie we did though, safe was a funny lady.   As I matured later in life I became a client of her successful Mary Kay business. My memories of her, and I'm speaking for my now husband Jerry as well, will always be fond.  RIP Miss Sherrie.
