

Sherrie was born on December 27, 1946 in Silver City, New Mexico to E.W. and Mary Katherine (Davis) Jacobs. She graduated from Abilene High School and attended Abilene Christian College. She had a varied career in the medical field and as an event coordinator for the State Bar of Texas and the Brenham Convention Center, where she hosted Princess Anne of England.
She is preceded in death by her parents, E.W. Jacobs, Kay Jacobs Billingsley, and her step-father Johnny Billingsley. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Vicki Hughs; daughters, Kari Wilson Sireno and husband Michael Sireno, and Kristi Wilson Morehouse and husband Mike Morehouse; granddaughter, Abbey Sireno Thibodeaux and husband Brady Thibodeaux; grandson, Jacob Sireno; great-granddaughters, Ella and Karsyn Thibodeaux; nephew, Lin Hughs; and great-niece, Riley Hughes.
A memorial service celebrating Sherrie’s life will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
