She worked several careers in her life; homemaker, typesetter, administrative assistant. She had a passion for dogs, horses, cockatiels and flamingos but really, she loved all animals especially those in shelters. She always went out of her way to donate several bags of food to animal shelters during the holiday season.
She is preceded in death by her father Claude Eugene Baldwin, mother Irene Ruth Baldwin, née Silva, both of her brothers, Claude Eugene Baldwin Jr. and Frank Gary Lee Baldwin and numerous animals in her lifetime of being a faithful pet caregiver.
She is survived by her sister Joanne Waddle, former husband Leonard Paul Janetzke and son Paul Kirk Janetzke. The family wishes to thank the final care given to her by Hospice Austin and especially Evenne McDonald, who tended to her needs until she passed.
A Graveside Service will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, it was Sherry’s final wish that people donate to their local animal shelters as a way of remembering her and her love for animals, especially those that have not found a forever home.
