Solomon Habtemariam

Solomon was born on May 5, 1942, in Eritrea, in the village of Adebeza located in the Southern Region currently known as ("Zoba Debub"). He was the second eldest son to his father, Sheqa Habtemariam Tesfazghi, and his mother, Weizero Leteab Habtetsion.

After enduring so much pain and dealing with some health issues for some years, sadly Solomon departed from us on September 6, 2023, to be with his Savior. Solomon was in his home in Round Rock where his wife cared for him until the end.

Solomon is survived by his lifetime companion/supporter and faithful wife Meaza, his four children, two grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters, many nephews and nieces, and a host of cousins and relatives. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Habtemariam Tesfazghi and Leteab Habtetsion, his brother Amanuel, and his sweetest grandson Alexander Finnell.

May the good Lord receive him at His eternal home with open hands and may he rest in peace. We love you, Dear Solomon!

A funeral service for Solomon will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. Following the funeral service, he will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery. The funeral service will be livestreamed and the link to view the service can be accessed on the funeral home website.
