He was a loving husband, best friend, and confidant. The love of his life was his wife, Dawn.
He was the proud father of Ashutosh and Eli Varra and step-father of Samuel and Emily Albertson. He was the cherished son of Prasada and Juliet Varra, dear brother of Suguna (Samuel) Reddypogu and their children; Hannah, Sarah and Joshua, Sunila (Anil) Levi and their son; Daniel, Surekha (Navin) Manohar and their children; Kristin and Grace. Sudheer is also survived by his grandmother; Ruth Angelina Johnston, mother-in-law; Gloria (Ron) Wigent, father-in-law; Samuel (Lois) Grubb as well as several loving aunts, uncles and many friends.
Sudheer was born on February 24, 1981 in Hyderabad, India to Prasada and Juliet Varra. He came to the United States in 1998 where he lived in Ft. Wayne, Indiana while attending Purdue University. He then transferred to Huston-Tillitson University in Austin, Texas where Sudheer obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. On July 6, 2002, Sudheer and Dawn R. (Grubb) were married in Michigan City, Indiana.
Over the years, Mr. Varra has worked as a Data Analyst for Sears and Office Depot and most recently held the position of Business Analyst for Maximus. Sudheer enjoyed traveling with his family, playing cricket, cheering for the University of Texas Longhorns and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys #DC4L.
A time of visitation with Sue, Sam, and Sudheer's parents will be held Wednesday evening, May 9, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Highland Park Baptist Church in Michigan. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at High Pointe Baptist Church in Austin, Texas with Pastor Juan Sanchez officiating.
