Susan was 92 years old and spent her adult life working for Dresser Industries as an export sales manager. Susan’s later years were spent working for Hope Presbyterian Church in Austin as a church secretary and for the Texas Workforce Commission in Round Rock.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth L. Bonds; daughter, Allison Sue Bonds Thompson; and grandchildren, Andy, Christopher, Danielle, Natalie and Stevie.
She was divorced from Wesley H. Bonds, who has also passed away in 1987. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Vanessa Bonds Hopkins.
Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 14311 Wells Port, Austin, Texas 78728 (near Wells Branch and Interstate 35.)
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan Bonds Memorial at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
