I Just found out about this tragedy today when I was googling Susan to see if I could find her. I was shocked to see she had passed away. I am so sorry. Oh Susan Susan, I do not know how to say goodbye, you were a precious special friend to me and always so loving. We've had some of the funniest laughs and fun times! I'm so sorry, I'm just finding out about this, it has certainly put a horrible damper on my visit home, I always make it to get my hugs & kisses! Called yesterday 4/20 and was told of this tragedy! I met Susan when I moved from Bossier City to Austin, the 2nd semester of 7th grade. I was determined NOT to like the people or the school, but Susan changed that pretty quickly. She was so sweet, happy & inviting. We became the 4 Musketeers, along with Cathy Medlock & Janet Stein. Her family became my family. We remained best friends for so many years, even after I moved to Irving, Dallas, Colorado & East Texas. I would come back for lake parties & weekends often. Susan, her mom & dad would visit no matter where I lived.  I have so many stories I could tell as many of you do. We were photo addicts so I have tons of pictures of us; Willie Nelson's 4th of July picnic, camping at the lake, dancing downtown Austin to a band we loved (Beethoven's Soul), hanging with friends & crushing on lifeguards at the pool, going to the skating rink (hi Michael) and overnights that kept us up all night.
Susan, I will miss you and always have the best memories of our friendship. Those were the days! Rest in peace.

Rest in Peace dear long lost friend.  The last time I saw you was when we both lived in Round Rock and you spoke to me at TG &Y.  Somewhere around 1985.  You were always so nice, and so much fun!  Your smile was one of a kind.  
Walk with the rest of our classmates who have gone home too soon....wait for us, we will one day have a class reunion among the stars!

No regrets, knowing Susan and all of the Harrisons are the most fond memories I carry to this day. I met them long ago as a very young girl. Susan's Mom Lula-Mae took care of me and the whole family made me a part of theirs. I will sorely miss her and only wish I did not live so far away and could have been there for her the past few years. I first met Susan (and Monica) at NW Pool back in the Summer of 1964 - That Friendship grew so strong that I talked my mother into moving to the Lanier school dist - HOURS were spent on the phone with Susan over the years - I moved but we stayed in touch over the phone - Here is a picture from 2003 - actually the last time I saw Susan - This was a night to remember.

Aunt Susan, you used to tell me, "Never forget how much I Love You!" I promise I will never forget how much you Love me. You never forget how much I Love You either, Okay? I don't know how to say Goodbye to you, so as we have said so many times before... Goodbye for now. You will always be a part of me. I've always been Blessed to have you watching over me. If it be in Spirit or in body. Whatever God's will may be, it will be. Keep that party going for me in Heaven, as I know you will. I'll happily be with you someday. You are with your Mother, Father, Sister, & Brothers, all of which I know you've missed more than words may say. I'm happy for you, but now you are the one who is missed. Nothing will be the same again. I wont forget your laughter, or your tears. I wont forget you. I can't!!! I'll see you every time I look in the mirror, brush my hair, brush my daughters hair, pull my daughters hair, play in my garden, celebrate Christmas, or say Goodnight Prayers & give Good Night Kisses to my Children. To me, you are in all things. I'm sorry this is so long, but it doesn't begin to touch our four hour long phone conversations. I can hear your loving voice saying "Bye for Now, Sweet Love" So I suppose I should hang it up here. All I know is that I Love You... And you will be missed.

Our dear Aunt Susan. You will be missed. I have so many wonderful memories of you while growing up. I treasure them. You were always so loving and oh what fun I had when I would come visit. I always think of you when I eat strawberry pretzel jello! You just loved it just as much as I did! I will always remember your kind loving heart. You are loved.
