Sylvia was a Christian with a profound love for her Lord and Savior. Sylvia worked for the City of Houston for 20 years and retired in 1999. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Prior to her lengthy illness, Jeanne and Jack enjoyed living the country life in Magnolia, Texas.
Sylvia is survived by her 3 children: Angela Alexander of Taylor, Texas; Christie Veyna of Pflugerville, Texas and Richard Veyna of Rochester Hills Michigan; 3 brothers, Jimmy, Jerry and John; 6 grand children and 1 great grandchild, as well as numerous friends and loved ones.
Her husband Jack Allen of Houston precedes her in death.
