Born on August 4, 1932, in Agua Dulce, Texas, to Alfredo Macias and Margarita Garza Macias, she lived a life defined by grace, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Teodora spent most of her life in Laredo, Texas, later residing in both Round Rock and Pflugerville. She was known for her strength, generosity, and the warmth she extended to everyone she met. Her home was a place of welcome, comfort, and love. Her wisdom guided many, and her kindness left a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with her family and pets, crocheting beautiful handmade pieces, and delighting in Hallmark Christmas movies, which she watched year-round. These pastimes brought her peace and happiness, and they remain cherished memories for those who shared them with her.
Throughout her life, Teodora dedicated herself to caring for others through her work as a nurse aide at Laredo Mercy Hospital and at the Sisters of Mercy Convent.
