

Terrence Ray “Terry” Hancock, born June 14, 1961in Warren, Ohio, is the oldest son of the two sons of James and Donna Hancock. Terry lived in several states during his early years because of his father’s business employment but eventually settled in Texas. It was in Tyler, Texas where Terry graduated from high school in 1979. He was awarded both of his college degrees from DeVry University in Irving, Texas, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude in Computer Information in 2002 and a Masters in Business Administration in 2004. Over the course of his life, he excelled in project management at companies including Microsoft, Visa and Accenture, where he was employed at the time of his passing.
Terry, often called “Hollywood” by his younger peers, wowed them with his dress attire. He also gained attention with his love of basketball and his playing of the drums. He was a basketball starter in high school and an accomplished player of the drums. He maintained his love of sports and music throughout his life. Adding photography and motorcycles in his later years.
Terry will be remembered and loved forever by his partner, Terri Morin of Austin, Texas; his son, Nicholas Hancock of Austin, Texas; his brother and sister-in-law, James and Michelle Hancock of Huntington Beach, California; and his parents, James and Donna Hancock of Greenville, South Carolina, and of course, his beloved dog Zeus. Terry’s infectious laugh will be missed but never forgotten.
