

He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred L. (Foster) Cook of Hutto, TX; daughters; Jenny D. Cook of McDade, TX, Brenda S. McLemore and husband Steve R. McLemore of Granger, TX; granddaughters; Michele D. Dutton and fiancé Bryan Farris of McDade, TX, Ashley R. Loeve and husband Jacob H. Loeve of Thrall, TX; brothers, Roger Roe of Pflugerville, TX, David Cook of Waco, TX; sisters, Barbara Kilgore of Rogers, TX and Leslie Crawford of Round Rock, TX; great-grandchildren, Brantly R. Loeve and Mia D. Farris.
Tom was a devoted husband and father; a self-employed paint contractor in Austin and surrounding area for over 40 years. After retiring from paint contracting he pursed his love of music. In his early years he had a local country band and taught many students to play the guitar. Tom was a gifted musician who had the ability to play numerous musical instruments and used that gift to entertain at nursing homes in the Austin area. He will be greatly missed.
A “Celebration of Life Memorial Service” will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church, 12062 North Lamar, Austin, Texas 78753 (Telephone: 512-836-1219).
