Thomas served in the United States Air Force for 21 years. He then went on to work in the private semi-conductor industry. He served as a council member for the city Pflugerville from 1989-1990 and had Moose park dedicated to him for his civic service.
Thomas was proceeded in death by his father, Thomas W. Moose Sr, his mother, Mary A. Moose, and his sister, Cindy Lambert. He is survived by his wife Sheri Moose, his daughter Yvonne (Kyle) Irby, his son Wilson Moose, grandchildren Joshua and Grace Irby, his sister, Robin (Bob) White, nieces and nephew Cassie (William) Hensley, Kellie (Jay) Kendrick, John, Candace, & Alexandria Lambert great niece Evelyn Kendrick and brother-in-law Lester Lambert.
