I can say so much about my friend, my brother Sherrell. We first met during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia. He embraced and welcomed me to the company. He told me that I would love being a Delta Dragon and he was absolutely correct. We even won the Flag Football Championship with Sherrell as the heart and soul of our defense as a MLB.

We kept in constant communication throughout the years and just enjoyed talking about Family, football, and our war stories. He called me three times over the last few weeks and he told me how proud he was of Sharon and me. He told me how much he loved his Family and told me to always tell my Family how much I love them. We had plans to link up this month in the ATL, but he’s now in a better place, resting in the Lord. He last words to me was “I Love Ya Bruh”, “keep on serving God.”

Thoughts and prayers with his Family. Sherrell - you fought the good fight of faith, well done thou good and faithful servant. Rest in the Lord. Carry on Soldier. ❤️ ✊🏾 😭

Tim, I am still in utter shock! I just spoke with you 4 days before and we talked on a regular basis!! We go way back to middle school and even though we were in Texas we always thought we would have time!! I love you man as we always said that when we hung up! You were like my brother, my homie and just my reason!! When I got the news I couldn’t even contain myself and even Jordan was in shock she said mom we just talked to him!! As I always say when we hang up!! I Love you and rest up sweet soul!!

You are already missed so much!!
