Born October 15, 1970, in Georgetown Texas, Timmy will be remembered as adventurous, compassionate, beloved, devoted, hard-working, gentle, loyal, kind-hearted, funny, patient, musical, and thoughtful—someone whose steady presence made life feel warmer and more possible for everyone around him.
Timmy worked for Leander ISD for 35 years, a testament to his devoted and hard-working spirit and the quiet pride he took in showing up, doing the job well, and serving others with kindness and patience.
For 37 years, Timmy was married to the love of his life. He leaves behind a huge family filled with love and laughter, and while his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will keep showing up in everyday moments—especially when KISS comes on the radio.
A true music lover with an adventurous streak and a great sense of humor, Timmy attended rock concerts whenever he could and collected guitar picks along the way. He went to 35 KISS concerts, and somehow managed to come home with many set lists—each one tied to a great story from the road and the kind of memories that never fade.
Timmy was also a fantastic cook who loved nothing more than cooking or grilling for family and friends, turning ordinary gatherings into something special with his thoughtful care and generous heart. He was a big fan of the Texas Longhorns, and—much to the dismay of his family—a loyal Green Bay Packers fan, too.
For 14 years Timmy was a proud board member of Round Rock Baseball League where he coached, volunteered and especially enjoyed watching his kids play ball. His RRBL family became lifelong friends.
Surviving Timmy is his wife and high school sweetheart of 37 years, Kim Salazar; their 2 sons, Christopher Bryce and Caden Jim; brothers, Gary Salazar (Regina), Jerry Salazar (Anissa); sister, Jessica Nevarez; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Rosemary Torres and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Theodora “Lola” and his brother, Randy.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 5-7pm at Cook-Walden Capital Parks, 14501 N IH 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. www.cookwaldencapitalparks.com
