

Tristan David Wilcoxen of Troy, Texas, died on Monday, October 5, 2015 at his home. He was 18. He was born on February 12, 1997 in Tempe, Arizona. He was attending Temple Community College, working toward his goal of becoming a detective. He previously attended Hendrickson High School, and graduated from Liberty Hill High School.
Tristan was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, and friend to all who knew him. His activities and interests in high school were diverse. He challenged himself with debate competitions, ROTC, and playing football for the Hendrickson Hawks. A beautiful, unique soul, Tristan had a wonderful sense of humor, and a heart of pure gold. He enjoyed spending time with family and those he loved, as well as gaming with his online “World of Warcraft” family. He will be greatly missed by all who came to know and love him.
Tristan is survived by both of his loving mothers; Susie Finnegan and Carrie Wilcoxen; his father David Wilcoxen Jr., step father; Brian Finnegan, brothers; Jaden and Gavin Wilcoxen, sister, Jordan Baker, Uncle Alex and Aunt Jennifer Buckner, whom he had been staying with in Troy, Texas. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, and many caring friends. Tristan was predeceased by his infant brother, Sebastian Wilcoxen.
Funeral Services will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas on October 11, 2015. Public viewing will begin at 2:30. Funeral service will start at 3:30, to be followed by graveside service.
