Dear Ong Noi, the past few days were some of the hardest days for me and your beloved family because you are no longer here with us. As much as it hurts to see you gone, to realize that I can no longer help you with the unbearable pain, hear you talk about politics, all of the great achievements you've made in your life and hear you encourage me to never stop learning because "there is no end to knowledge", a part of me feels relieved because you are at peace and no longer hurting. I know I've never said this but I'm always grateful that you are my grandpa and you were always there helping my parents raise me. I'll never stop missing you. I will always try my hardest to make you proud and I'll take care of grandma as much as I can. I love you Ong Noi.

I am thankful for having you here with us for the last years of your life and for my daughters to have had the opportunity to know you. We will always remember you. Rest in God's eternal peace. We will see you again one day grandpa.

I know the grief you are experiencing over the loss of your Grandfather and want to extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. Please know that we all share your sorrow at this difficult time.

Ong Noi... I miss you!!! I miss talking to you alone when were only two of us. I miss cooking you meals when we were in Huntington Beach! I miss picking you up at church every morning ( well not like every morning due to my laziness)!! I am really happy you're finally get a chance to rest peaceful without any pains that you had been suffered every hour. Rest in Peace Grandfather! I love you.

The memories I have of you walking to church every morning will be the ones I will cherish forever. You were a man of great faith. You will always be remembered. I love you grandpa.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
