

Valerie was born on February 9, 1960, in Lexington, Kentucky to Francis Clay and June Leilani Heflin. She grew up in Austin Texas and graduated from Anderson High School.
She lived most of her adult life in Georgetown Texas where she raised two daughters.
For the last 20 years she and her sister owned and operated a storage business in Georgetown.
She was a devoted member of New Covenant Church of Bastrop.
Valerie was a people person and never met a stranger. She loved her family and friends and her church and spending time with them all. She loved helping and caring for others and cooking and baking cookies and sharing her recipes.
Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Greg and granddaughters Isabella and Amber Rodriguez.
She is survived by her daughters, Suzette Rodriguez and husband John, Melissa Kramer and partner Mauricio Callejas; her grandchildren Kaitlin Rodriguez and partner Leonardo Rivera; Juan Rodriguez, Jr.; Gabriella Rodriguez and Jasmin Rubalcaba; her great grandsons; Aiden and Dexter Rivera; her sister Kimberley Treaster and husband Scott and many dear friends.
A visitation for Valerie will be held Friday, November 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A wake will occur Friday, November 11, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at New Covenant Church, 132 Highway 21 W, Bastrop, TX 78602, Bastrop, Texas 78602. A committal service will occur Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
