

Velma married the love of her life on January 5th, 1950. In Idaho Falls, Idaho. Two years later, Merlin joined the Air Force. Followed by the start of their family
Velma enjoyed spending most of her time outdoors, planting flowers, camping, riding horses, family outings, and going to baseball games. She loved watching her favorite teams The Dodgers and Longhorns.
A Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and great-grandmother, Velma is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Mary Gentle; her Husband Merlin J Webster of 49 Years (Retired United States Air Force); three sisters Irene Burke, Helen Smartt, and Erma Skelton; three brothers Victor, Paul, and Earl Gentle; and former son in law Gary Janousek.
She is survived by her son Kerry Webster, daughters Deborah Janousek and Christine Torres (William); Grandchildren Gregory Janousek and Garry Janousek (Amanda), Stephanie Sablone (Christopher);14 Grandchildren and great grand grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Velma will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
