Virginia was a longtime member of the Fairview Church of Christ in Austin and had many lasting friendships from her years of fellowship there. The family wishes to thank her minister and friends for their much appreciated visits. Virginia and her husband Richard (Dick) Gilmore owned and operated Gilmore Electric for many years prior to his death in 1989.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Fran and Billy Naumann; grandchildren, Kerri Butler, Ricky and Anna Naumann, Amy and Lance Clinton; six great-granddaughters; 2 great-grandsons; and one adorable great-great-grandson; and her brother, Roy and wife Martha Rushing.
There will be a visitation from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday evening, Oct 15, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, at the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
