Bill was a self taught trim carpenter who worked as a construction superintendent. He was passionate about his family, woodworking and grilling. In his free time, he enjoyed playing with his two girls, Leah and Olivia. They often went on daddy daughter dates. Bill was a grill master and could build anything he set his mind to.
Bill is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Evelyn Abernathy and William and Ethel Moore. As well as his father, James “Jim” Abernathy. He survived by his daughters; Leah Evelyn and Olivia Kay Abernathy; and family members, Laurie Abernathy Jackson, Malcolm Jackson, Erin Diane Abernathy, Craig Abernathy, Erin Kay Abernathy and Tammy Brim. Bill was blessed with a large and loving family that included numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation for Bill will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home.
