Yemane Seifu

Master Warrant Officer Yemane Seifu was born October 1, 1942 in Tagulet- Debre Birhan, Ethiopia. He attended primary and secondary schools in Debre Birhan. He then joined the Ethiopian Air Force to serve his country. While in the Ethiopian Air Force, he served with pride, dignity and honor at various levels and positions.

Furthermore, he has completed military courses in his field both in Ethiopia and abroad.

In 1981, he left Ethiopia and took refuge in Khartoum, Sudan. After a brief stay in Khartoum Sudan, he then migrated to the United States, lived and worked in Austin, Texas.

Master Warrant Officer Yemane Seifu was kind and compassionate. He was active in many community associations and was loved and respected by many.

Unfortunately, after battling a chronic illness for the past two and half years he died on August 19, 2021.

He is survived by his daughter Hana Yemane, his sister Almaz Seifu and many other relatives in Ethiopia and the US.

የማስተር ዋራንት ኦፊሰር የማነ ሰይፉ አጭር የህይወት ታሪክማስተር ዋራንት ኦፊሰር የማነ ሰይፉ ህዳር 1 1942 ዓ ም ተጉሌት በደብረ ብርሀን ከተማ ኢትዮጵያውያ ተወለዱ። በደብረ ብርሀን ከተማ የአንደኛና ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርታቸውን አጠናቀዋል። ከዚያ በኋላ በኢትዮጵያ አየር ሀይል ተቀጥረው በተላያዩ ዲፖርትመንቶቾ እስከ ማስተር ዋራንት ኦፊሰር ማዕረግ በመድረስ አገራቸውን አገልግለዋል። በአየር ሀይል በቆዩበት ጊዜ የተሰጣቸውን ሀላፊነት በብቃትና በተቀላጠፈ መንገድ አከናውነዋል። በለተለያየ ጊዜም በአገር ውስጥና በውጭ ሀገር የትምህርት እድል አግኝተው የዕውቀት አድማሳቸውን አጎልምተዋል።

በ1981 ዓ ም ወደ ሱዳን ካርቱም ሄደው ጥቂትጊዜ ከቆዩ በሁዋላ ጥገኝነት ጠይቀው ወደ አሜሪካ መጥተው ህይወታቸው እስካለፈበት ነሀሴ 19, 2021 ድረስ በኦስቲን ቴክሳስ ኖረዋል።

ማስተር ዋራንት ኦፊሰር የማነ ሰይፉ ከሰዎች ጋር በመግባባትና በመከባበር የሚያምኑ በብዙዎች የሚወደዱ ግለሰብ ነበሩ። በደስታም ሆነ በችግር ጊዜ ቀድመው በመድረስ ርህራሄና ፍቅር የሚቸሩ ደግ ሰው ነበሩ።

ልጃቸው ሀና የማነና እህታቸው አልማዝ ሰይፉ በኢትዮጵያ እንዲሁም ሌሎች ዘመዶቻቸው በአሜሪካ ይኖራሉ።ነፍሳቸውን በገነት ያኑር!!
