Zung Thi Nguyen Vo, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday 25th of February 2014. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her husband of 56 years, her sons and daughter-in-laws. She had over 82 years of full life.
Her life began on 20th November 1931 in Hanoi, Vietnam. After completing her high school, she traveled to the United States for her higher education. She earned a Bachelor of Art from the Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a Master of Art from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She was appointed to a teaching post at the prestigious Trung Vuong high school in Saigon, Vietnam.
She is survived by her husband Phuoc Vo; sons: Paul & Perry; daughter-in-laws: Mylinh & Phuong-Anh; grandchildren: Patrick, Christine, Christopher and Daniel; adopted granddaughter: Minh Tho Nguyen; extended family: Patricia McCann, Brian McCann, Beth Bush-McCann & spouse, and Michele McCann; sister-in-laws: Hoa Chambard and Cuon Thi Huynh; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
