Adam Michael Montagna

Adam Michael Montagna of Tempe, AZ died suddenly on August 24, 2013. Adam was a man of strong faith & conviction who lived with the assurance of eternal life in Christ. “Know that I am at peace and with the Father,” Adam Montagna. Born in Mesa on February 9, 1990, Adam graduated from Grace Community Christian School in 2004 and then attended Marcos de Niza High School, also studying automotive technology at EVIT. Adam was a remarkable young man who was dedicated to his family and many friends. Always willing to lend a hand, or an ear, Adam was loved and respected by everyone he knew. He was wise beyond his years and admired by many twice his age. A true outdoorsman, Adam hunted, fished, hiked, kayaked and was working on building on his “off the grid” land in Paulden, AZ. He was an avid animal lover and “dad” to his dogs, Wiley and Hunter, and his “too many to count” reptile friends. Adam’s latest passion was country dancing. He quickly became an outstanding dancer and had a great group of friends at his favorite country western club, Denim and Diamonds. Adam’s family was proud and thankful to work beside him in the family business, MAKA Beauty Systems, where he was always willing to help wherever needed – delivering, equipment sales and service, customer service and accounting. His cheerful smile, endless hugs and constant high fives will be our happy memories. Adam will be mourned and missed by the many people he touched. His parents, Michael and Kathy Montagna, sister Anna Galanos, brother-in-law Nick Galanos, niece Desirae, nephew Nicholas, grandparents Frank and Lena Montagna, best friend Billy Cartner and many other loving family members and friends will miss him more than words can tell. We pray that Adam’s faith, love, & friendship will inspire family & friends to follow Christ so we will all rejoice & dance with him again in heaven. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31 at The Church of the Resurrection, 3201 S. Evergreen Road, Tempe, AZ 85281. An Adam celebration reception will follow the service.
