

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing Adele Araza, (69) beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend after her valiant fight with cancer. Adele passed away on July 2, 2026. She was born on December 14, 1956, in Yuma, Arizona to the late Bob and Lee Araza of Yuma, Arizona. She is survived by her twin sister Arlene Jeter, her brother Anthony Araza and her big sister the late Anna Johnson. Adele was a sweet and loving aunt to many nieces, nephews as well!
Adele grew up in Yuma and eventually moved to Phoenix, AZ to start her career as a computer program analyst for Pinnacle West (APS). She finished her working career there and retired in October 2014.
Adele was known for her generosity, kindness, strength, care, and love for her family and friends. Whether it was with laughter, compassion, and unwavering support, she made a lasting and unforgettable difference in the lives of her family and friends.
Adele enjoyed traveling, and camping in her RV with sister Arlene and her friends and treasured every moment spent with those she loved. Although our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the wonderful memories she has made for all of us who know her and loved her. Her warmth, spirit, and love will live on, and she will be deeply missed.
A memorial/celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary located at 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
