Phoenix - December 20, 1931-February 11, 2018.
Our Dad passed away peacefully with family surrounding him.
He grew up in the Golden Gate Community of Phoenix and proudly served in the US Army.
He retired from Maricopa County, after 34 years of loyal service.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria (Loli), his sister, Alice Ruiz, his children, Patricia, Linda (Mike), Marina (Mark), Debbie (Al), Steve (Ana) & Frank (Sherri), 10 Grandchildren, & 12 great Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and the many people he touched. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anita Rivera and his granddaughter, Monica Lorraine Fischer.
We invite you to celebrate his life with us on Monday, February 19th beginning at 11:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel, 5921 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85033. Memorial Service to begin at 12:00pm followed with a reception at the residence of the Chavez family at 18053 W. Purdue Ave., Waddell, AZ 85355.
