Albert J. Gomez, 56, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away at 12:01am, Tuesday August 1st, 2017 from a long battle with cancer. Albert was born on December 14, 1960, in Chicago, ILL., and was a life long resident until he moved to Arizona to be with his children and grandchildren. He worked as a electrician and was always willing to help those in need. He was a family man and always tried making people laugh. He is survived by his mother and father, Mona and Al Gomez; 2 brothers, Robert and Adam; 4 sisters, Esther, Tina, Eve, and Irene; and his 6 children, Michael, Albert, Eric, Dana, Diana and Jeremy; 17 grandkids; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. Albert will be laid to rest in September in Chicago, ILL. with his grandmother, brother and son. Arrangements under the direction of Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services Maryvale Chapel, Phoenix, AZ.
