Alexa Dale Stegmann (Gray) was born in Phoenix, AZ on April 4, 1969. At the age of 12, she and her father, Danny Gray, moved to Crested Butte, Colorado where Alexa graduated from high school. Alexa then attended Western State College studying fashion design in the nearby city of Gunnison, Colorado.
Alexa met and married Carl Stegmann making their home in Montrose, Colorado where she lived happily for many years, attending church, enjoying the outdoors, decorating her home, and cultivating friendships. Alexa returned to Phoenix in 2007 to be closer to her extended family while battling a terminal illness.
