Alfred was the star member of The Best of The West book club at Glendale Public Library.  He had such insight into the readings and always shared the best with the group.  Always the gentleman he waited while the ladies gave out ideas and then he would come in with a real valuable comment that set the reading in your mind.  We won't be the same without your lead Alfred
