Amanda passed away unexpectedly December 5, 2023 at the age of 46. She is a graduate of New Trier HS in Winnetka, IL and obtained several Masters Degrees from DePaul University. She most recently was an Economics teacher at Pinnacle HS in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to that she taught IB Economics at Desert Mountain HS in Scottsdale AZ. She was a teacher that was liked both by her students and colleagues. Amanda was more than just a teacher, she was a pillar of strength and kindness. Her untimely passing will be felt by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her father, Steve Faigin, and brother Hayden Sands, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins, many many friends, colleagues and students alike.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 9 2023 at 2PM at her home, 24217 N 23rd Way, Phoenix AZ 85024.
