Angel M. Garcia, a cherished man known for his dedication, generosity, and unconditional love for his family, passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side on January 28th, 2025, at the age of 95.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, on June 4th, 1929, to Rafaela Manzanedo and Cristino Garcia, Angel embraced hard work from an early age. He spent his youth working on farms and in the restaurant industry before dedicating 31 years of service to the City of Phoenix. Even after retirement, his work ethic never wavered—he continued caring for his family by mowing lawns, tending to his son's cows, and picking up "hot dogs”.
Angel found joy in visiting casinos, cruising in his classic Chevy truck, cooking his famous "Tata’s beans," and, above all, caring for his family and those around him. He was a devoted father, a mentor and best friend to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a loyal companion, and a kindhearted soul. He was our angel on earth and now lovingly watches over us from heaven.
Angel was preceded in eternal rest by his wife Annie Garcia, his son and daughter-in-law Joe and Jackie Garcia, his mother, father and 15 brothers and sisters. He leaves behind his daughter, Patricia Lucero; grandchildren: Joey Garcia (Sandra), Angelica Garcia-Allen (Paul), Briana Lucero, Tara Lucero, Roman Lucero and great-grandchildren: Natalie, Quincee, Indiana and Gabriella.
