

Anita was born in Superior, Nebraska June 28, 1935. Her childhood was filled with many memories of living with her parents, Amy and Leslie, as well as her two brothers, Duane and Richard on a farm. As an adult, she poured her intelligence and hard work ethic into her career as a nurse, through which she spent her life helping others during their time of need. She also spent this time raising her only child, Debbie, and being a dedicated, loving mother to her. In the later years of her life Anita deeply valued all the time she spent traveling and visiting with family, enjoying the arts, painting and building relationships with her many great friends.
There was so much to be said about Anita’s amazing personality and how she touched the lives of everyone around her. Throughout her life she was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her love was shown through her devotion, support and generosity to everyone. She brought amazing joy and memories to her family and friendships that will never be forgotten. Her incredible strength, independence, perseverance and love are an inspiration to all and will continue on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah (Dennis) Klippel, her granddaughters Amanda (Jesse) Marx, Stacey Klippel, her great grandchildren Elias and Syndyl Newman, her brothers Duane (Barbara) Myers and Richard (Constance) Myers. She was preceded in death by her grandson Erik Carnahan and her parents Amy and Leslie Myers.
