My wife Janie and I had our wedding reception catered by Sister Fleming and her sisters/family. My dad also served in the Phoenix Arizona West Stake presidency with Brother Fleming. As I grew up in West Stake, I always looked to the Fleming family for example and for their testimonies. We send our love and gratitude for the lives lived, and thank you for being a part of my growing up, and the start of Janie's and my life together.

I still remember the first time I met Sister Fleming. She was my primary teacher age 9 , 19th ward. 50 yrs ago. Our paths have crossed many times. I remember how surprised she was when I found her in the Family History Library in Salt Lake. 💝 to family. Hugs for Julie, your Mama was special to us all !

AnnaJean has always been one of heaven's gallant ministering angels and I am certain she is continuing in that role. She served as one of the most loved and important mentors in my life. Watching her interact with her children taught me how to be a better mother. Working with her in the Primary, Relief Society, and Cub Scouts taught me how to be a teacher and a leader in the gospel. Those were the days when each organization held events to earn their own budget money. I remember cupcake sales, carnivals, ward dinners, homemaking craft sales -- AnnaJean was always leading out organizing, decorating, cooking. If there was a ward activity, AnnaJean was there to set up and take down. And as my husband began to be called to leadership positions, it was AnnaJean who was there to guide me and teach me how to be a support to him. She was a good friend to me, one whom I trusted and loved with all my heart. God speed, AnnaJean. I hope to see you soon -- I wonder if they have ward dinners and picnics and campouts in heaven??
