Anna Mae Sutton, 89, of Glendale joined her husband Vern in heaven on June 9, 2018. Anna was born in Springfield, MO on April 20, 1929. She was from a family of 8, parented by Bea and Virgil Brown. Anna loved God and family more than anything along with cooking, sewing, music, square dancing, playing cards, and collecting dolls. With only an 8th grade education, she worked as a cafeteria manager for 14 years in Isaac School District.
Anna and Vern raised six children – Linda Koehlmoos, Beverly Harmon, Connie Stevens, Pamela Steiner, Verna Sutton, and Chris Sutton. She is survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Anna’s funeral service will be Saturday, June 23, 10AM at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, 85009. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.
