

Anne A. Comella, formerly Luby, nee Timm, passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on May 16, 2014, in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born July 2, 1916, in Chicago, a loving daughter and preceeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Anna Timm (Kunkel), and sister to Eleanore (Mrs. Edwin Wiedbusch), Herbert (Violet), Elmer (Eleanor), Mildred (Mrs. LeRoy Erickson), and Leigh (Mrs. Raymond Alexander) and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Anne was the beloved wife of August E. (Augie) Comella for 39 years. She was the cherished mother of Barbara (Mrs. Alan Spacone) and Loree Bubert; stepmother of Richard Comella, Barbara (Mrs. Henry Perce) deceased, and Robert Comella, deceased; grandmother of Erin (Mrs. Scott Staeck, deceased) and Mary (Mrs. Aaron Evans); great grandmother of Heather Staeck, Brittany Staeck, Mallory Evans, Katie Evans, Jennifer Evans and Jessica Evans; and great great grandmother of Grayden Scott Thompson.
Anne loved life and always had a smile on her face. She retired from Central States Health and Welfare Fund in 1986 and then travelled the world with Augie. She was very active with the Des Plaines Dance Club and Trinity Lutheran Church until moving to Church Creek Retirement Home. She relocated to Arizona in 2012.
