Antoinette “Toni” Heitzmann passed away in Phoenix on March 7, 2020, at age 95. She was born in Chicago in 1925 to Ralph and Katharine Nomes and moved west to Phoenix after marrying Albert J. Heitzmann in 1948.
After raising her children, Toni entered college and became a registered nurse, a profession she was very proud of. She loved the outdoors, and spent many enjoyable years visiting the little town of Crown King in the Bradshaw Mountains of Arizona. She enjoyed traveling, learning and volunteering her time.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Albert J. Heitzmann, and two siblings. She is survived by her children Albert, Kathy and Annette, her sister Joanne, and three grandchildren. Many extended family members and friends will miss her.
