Belinda C. Tolifson, 77, passed away peacefully in her Sun City home on October 12, 2026, surrounded by love from her family and friends. She was born in San Luis Obispo, California to the late William & Beverly Banks.
Lynde grew up in Burbank, California and very involved in her church. After graduating high school, she moved to Arizona around 1968, where she met and married the love of her life Donald R. Tolifson on February 12, 1971.
Lynde is predeceased by her husband Don and is survived by their 3 children: son David Tolifson (Johnna Tolifson), daughter Diane Fernandez (Tony Fernandez) and son Dennis Tolifson, 4 grandsons Tylar Maza (Ashlee Maza), Morgan Tolifson, Christian Maza, Callum Tolifson, 1 great granddaughter Ember Maza, her brother Bill Banks, her sister Bonnie Olsen and nephews and nieces.
For several years she enjoyed her job as a customer service trainer at APS, which sent her traveling all over the State of Arizona. She loved spending time with her family and countless friends, playing games (Lucky Lynde won most of the time) and watching her children and grandchildren play sports.
A service will be held at Lakeview United Methodist Church November 14th, 2026 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to her church.
