Benjamin George Leyvas

He retired from Fleming Foods in 2003 after 29 years of services with the company. He was recognized as both Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year.

He was the owner and operator of Benny Leyvas Landscaping for 40 years. He was proud of the hard work and dedication that he gave his customers. He build many friendships on the foundation of honesty, loyalty, and respect. He would often say “No Job Too Tough ~Benny Leyvas” and that was very true.

Benny enjoyed going to the mountains of Overgaard, Arizona for fresh air and fishing. Vacations included trips to the beaches of southern California and Baja California. He loved watching the sunset touch the horizon and the cool breeze.

Benny is survived by his wife Belia Alicia Hernandez-Leyvas and two sons, Benjamin Joseph Leyvas and Michael John Leyvas. Benny leaves behind a loving family that includes three grandchildren, four sisters, two brothers and a large group of caring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will be remembered for his kind, generous heart and hardworking ethic.
