Grandpa,
You truly are my hero. I'm going to miss you so so much, and all the fun times we shared together. Thank you for never judging me, and always being there since I was a little girl. I will always embrace your strength, miss your laugh, fake snores, you're humming as you play the guitar, your jokes, and how we would plot our casino trips. The stories you shared will never be forgotten. Your memorabilia I will hold very dearly and close to my heart. Although the pain breaks my soul💔. Knowing your in heaven with those you lost, comforts me that your not alone. I know they are there waiting for you in heaven.. You truly are the best great great grandfather that a family could ever ask for. We have all been so blessed to have you! Keep an eye on our family from above, and we will all "be okay" Salute Soldier! I love you!

The earliest memory I have of my cousin Benny was when I was about 6 years old - Benny would have been around 25. He and his brother Ray were still in the service, and stationed at Fort Ord, CA. He came to visit us and brought all of us a gift. Mine was a doll with real hair. I think that's the only doll I've ever had that was mine.

He and his brothers and sisters visited their aunts in California often. They were always welcomed with open arms and lots of love. My mother loved her nephews and nieces, and was always so happy to see them. RIP cousin Benny. Love you forever.
