She went to school and graduated from Phoenix Union High in 1943. Betty met and married Donald Pherson in 1948 and they raised two sons, Robin and Brian.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Donald and son Brian. She is survived by son Robin L. Pherson (Catherine); granddaughters, Mallory (John), Jessica (Paul), and seven great grandchildren; sister, Mary; nieces Sheri, Susan (Michael), Jan, Diana and Susan.
