Betty Lou Skinnell

Betty loved many of the simple things in life. She spent some of her time in the workforce but her love was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She taught her family by her example through love and guidance. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed embroidering blankets, quilts and tea-towels. She loved life, knew how to truly love others and loved to laugh. Her smile and laugh will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband James F. Skinnell, son Michael J. Skinnell and sister Caralee White. Betty is survived by her children Danny W. Ivie (Denise Rincon), Trudy J. Johnson (David Johnson), Janet L. Lopez (Henry Lopez), and Brian K. Skinnell (Mischaelle). 17 grandchildren and many, many great-grandchilddren, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Betty will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints, 15018 North 39th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85053, followed by a funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM.
