

Beverly Jo Robinson was born in Phoenix, AZ on September 25, 1937. Her parents, Forrest and Eula Robinson operated dairies in South Phoenix. Beverly grew up in Phoenix, graduated from Phoenix Union High School and was among the first group of veterinary technicians certified in Arizona. Her faith guided her throughout her life including bible camp as a child, holding babies in the nursery during church services and a pilgrimage to Israel in 2004 to be baptized in the Jordan River. Beverly is survived by her dog Mimee, two daughters, Tamie Fisher and Sheryl Jones, two stepsons, Scott Rounds and Gary Rounds, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Collectively, they were the light of her life. She was predeceased by her husbands Joseph E. Jones and Peter M. Rounds, DVM and step-siblings Patricia Robinson Bacon Brandt, Mary Lou Ray Pruter, and Tommy Ray. A private memorial service will be held at Salt & Light Christian Church, 6150 N 19th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85015 on Saturday, June 13 at 11:00am. In honor of Beverly’s life, bring a photo of your favorite pet to wear in a name badge during the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Salt & Light Christian Church.
